It's been a long, long time . . .hasn't it????

Well, quite a bit has been happening in 'Crawlerville' so I'll begin at the start.

Sadly, we had to finally part company with our 'legendary' bass player Mr. Pete Brew. He had actually handed his notice in in nov 2005 but stayed around to help us until we found a replacement, what a guy!!!!

We did have the pleasure of Mr TONY BURTON who played with us at The ROBIN in January, ONE rehearsal he had, we had a great time down there as always. Go to the DOWNLOADS page for photos of the gig, kindly taken by the lovely Sue Heather (Chocolate Surprise).

Also, Chris O'Connell has parted company with the band to concentrate on his own projects. Good luck to both of the guys.

Well, we DO have replacements in the shape of NEIL MELLOR an AMAZING guitarist from Liverpool who wasn't a G-Fan, but is loving the stuff and is doing his best to catch up! He's chomping at the bit to get gigging and believe me, you WILL be impressed! You can see a bit of him noodling at the music shop where he teaches guitar on Youtube HERE

Also, to fill the bass playing vacancy, we found a GEM of a player through the G Forums from Staffordshire in CHRIS WATT. Chris is a massive G-fan and is predominantly a jazz guitarist who also teaches. But his bass skills are exemplary. He really has the feel for Mr. Rutherford and Steurmer where necessary and a great singer too!

We are currently rehearsing away getting the guys to catch us up on the existing set, and also throwing a few new songs in too. As soon as we see the finish line in sight we hope to book a few dates before the end of the year.

Also, you may have heard about my little foray into the World of Marillion.

I was delighted as I am an orignal Marillion fan from the Script era, when Mick Pointer contacted me last year via THIS website and asked me to audition for the part of FISH in the upcoming 25th Anniversary tour. I jumped at the chance and had a fantastic time with some great musicians who are also great guys! Nick Barrett (PENDRAGON), Ian Salmon (ARENA), and Mike Varty (CREDO) along withMr. POINTER, what a line-up!!

We are playing at the Minnuendo Festival in Spain next month and are hoping to tour Europe and the UK early next year!

So a lot to come in the near future for us all, sorry for the delay in updates but hopefully we'll have a lot more to say in the next few months.

A HUGE thanks to the guys out there who have been asking and sending kind comments, we WILL be back and BIGGER and BRIGHTER than ever!

See you soon,

Bri TCC. xxx
